Your mum was a fearless warrior!! What a marvel. I absolutely loved reading this. Your mums story should be heard far and wide. And then when I got to the bit about her sewing skills.. Wow! Just wow! And I can really relate to how disabling it must have been to lose a finger. I used to do a lot of patchwork and quilting but since my Dupuytren’s disease, I've lost motivation because it's created a barrier.
